The Vedic Yagya Center was founded in 2002 by Pandit Sharma C.S. Samavedula, a 6th generation Sama Veda pandit, who has been performing Vedic yagyas for clients throughout the world for over 20 years. The Center has facilities near Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh, India and in Fairfield, Iowa, U.S.A. It employs a core group of over 20 Vedic Pandits representing all 4 branches of the Vedas, who are experts in different kinds of yagyas, homams and pujas. For large yagyas, which can have as many as 100 to 150 pandits, the Center contracts with other expert Vedic pandits. The Center provides to clients the most authentic and effective traditional Vedic yagyas and pujas as prescribed in the Vedas and Shastras, the ancient holy Indian scriptures.

What is a Yagya?

A yagya is an ancient Vedic ritual performed by trained Vedic pandits, which uses specific primordial sounds (Vedic mantras) along with a sequence of precise actions, begun at an exact auspicious time, to bring about a desired effect. Yagyas are the practical application of the Vedas, which are a large collection of mantras that were cognized by the ancient Vedic seers (rishis) thousands of years ago.

Yagyas can help resolve problems in various spheres of life. They are designed to solve specific health, financial, relationship and business problems, to balance a difficult astrological period, to rectify Vastu problems in homes and offices, or to encourage a beneficial event to occur. They are also employed for protection, to gain support for the fulfillment of a specific personal desire or business goal, to improve company sales and to enhance spiritual evolution and growth towards enlightenment. Yagyas can be performed for an individual, a family, a business, an organization, a city, a state, etc.

Modern physics has discovered that all matter and energy arise from a unified field at the basis of all nature and that everything in nature is composed of specific vibratory frequencies. Some physicists have described this unified field as a field of pure consciousness.

The ancient Vedic rishis cognized the mantras or primordial sounds that structure the different aspects of nature and how to utilize these mantras combined with specific actions to bring about a desired effect. Yagyas work at the level of pure consciousness where space, time, energy and matter are one. Because of this, a yagya can be performed at a distance from the client and still produce the desired effect for the client.

Our thoughts, words and actions have an influence on our environment and result in reactions. This is the law of karma. Our past actions have created the current events and circumstances in our life. A yagya is the most effective remedial action to counteract our past negative karmas and to create positive karmas for the future.

Ideally, yagyas should be performed in advance to counteract negative influences before they begin to manifest and to enhance future positive influences. Yagyas performed on a regular basis bring the best results. They act as karmic insurance policies.
